Long Live Arts Conference 2015
We cordially invite you to participate in the Long Live Arts conference, on 21 and 22 May 2015 in the Theater aan het Spui in The Hague. Hedy d'Ancona, ambassador of Long Live Arts, will act as host.

The conference focuses on cultural participation by older people. International specialists from the sectors of arts and culture, health care, and welfare will be contributing to the programme themselves. Eleven European countries, as well as Australia, Brasil and the USA, will be represented with over 50 inspirational presentations, workshops and interactive sessions.

Long Live Arts ambassadors
We are pleased to inform you that four ambassadors have been selected from the almost 150 conference proposals. They will represent the best of the best of Long Live Arts at the US conference 'The Creative Age' (19-20 May 2015, Washington, DC). Click here to read more about these four ambassadors.

21 & 22 MAY 2015: Two-day European conference (€ 335,-)
Programme 21 May

  • Official opening by several renowned speakers, such as Susan Perlstein, Bob Collins and Andreas Kruse
  • Networking lunch
  • Afternoon programme with 25 presentations and workshops
  • Spectacular show 'Opening Night: Feel the Arts'
  • Generation dinner 'The Circle of Life' (optional, see below)

Programme 22 May

  • Morning excursions, e.g. Haags Gemeentemuseum and The Residentie Orkest, of which you may select one of your choice
  • Lunch with funding market and speed dating with various EU funding organisations
  • Afternoon programme with 25 presentations and workshops. Don't miss one of the sessions of the four ambassadors who will represent the Long Live Arts conference at the US conference 'The Creative Age'.
  • Dazzling finale by Holland Dance & Grey Vibes

20 MAY 2015: Peer-To-Peer Meetings (€ 60,-)

  • Dynamic groups of like-minded European professionals engage in active learning. Peer-to-peer meetings in the field of Practice, Research and Policy will be held on the afternoon prior to the conference.

  • The beauty of ageing in stand-up comedy: older people (70+) share the stage with Dutch comedians. A hilarious and gripping show by St. Liesje Doet in Theater Diligentia.

Please note that if you would like to book your hotel room for the conference, we are offering rooms in several hotels with specially negotiated rates (space is limited). Due to logistical reasons we are able to hold these rooms until 31 March 2015. As from 1 April 2015 the discounted rates are still valid, but only on an as-available basis.
