Program and Objectives
The Long Live Arts program runs from September 2014 until May 2016 and consists of four elements:
- Working Conference - October 2014 London
- European Conference - May 2015 The Hague
- Peer to peer meeting Learning Opportunities for Older Adults in the Arts and through the Arts - October 2015 Germany
- Creative Dinner - 28 April 2016 Brussels
By 2016 we intend for most European stakeholders from the sectors of arts and culture, health care, and welfare to have completely incorporated cultural participation by older people in their policies. We currently explore which type of future EU collaboration (e.g. a platform agreement or a convention) will suit the objectives of Long Live Arts best, in order to continue and further enhance the Long Live Arts program after 2016.
