Long Live Arts is founded by the Long Long Live Arts team (The Cultural Participation Fund (FCP), Fonds Sluyterman van Loo, Stichting RCOAK, the VSBfonds and the National Centre of Expertise for Cultural Education and Amateur Arts (LKCA) (The Netherlands).

The Cultural Participation Fund (FCP) aims to promote participation in the arts and culture by encouraging people to take an active part in artistic and cultural activities.
